The Denver Broncos finished the 2021 NFL Preseason 3-0

Updated: Feb 21, 2022

As they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 17-12.

The last time the Broncos went undefeated during the preseason was in 2017. The Broncos finished that season 5-11. Let's face it the Broncos haven't had a winning season since they won the Super Bowl in 2016. Will this season be any different?

Well with the success the Broncos had this preseason they will look to carry that monument into the regular season. Which will not be an easy task. One good thing for the Broncos is they have found their starting quarterback. Teddy Bridgewater, Bridgewater has battled through career with threatening injuries. The strides he has made this preseason has proven he's an asset for any team.

The Bronco's success this season will fall on him. The Broncos have always been known for their elite defense. Rookie CB Patrick Surtain has been turning heads this preseason. In my opinion, Surtain is probably one of the quickest I’ve seen as a rookie CB to adapt to an elite defense and pick up multiple spots.

Although this game is won by putting points on the board. Courtland Sutton is healthy and ready for Week 1. Sutton is one of the Bronco's premier WR. He's a special guy, a selfless guy. He has a big heart and plays with a lot of energy. Sutton has shown the ability to create separation and make big plays.

Another key player making his return is a veteran pass rusher, Von Miller. Miller demonstrated both his quickness off the edge and in the gap. The Broncos will need him to replicate the Pro Bowl-caliber play that he's shown throughout his career. If anything, I'm expecting big performances from both of these players this season.

The pressure is on, the Broncos open up the season Sunday against the New York Giants.
