New Weapons-New Wilson

After a tough loss to the Arizona Cardinals last week, quarterback Russell Wilson came into training camp with a chip on his shoulder. He wanted to show coaches and players he has what it takes to lead Denver's redesigned offense coached by Sean Payton himself.

Sean Payton on Russell Wilson, His movement skills have been “impressive” over the course of training camp. Also pointed to his accuracy. Said the past 1.5 weeks to 2 weeks have been impressive.

Payton and the front office supplied Wilson with numerous key weapons over the offseason to help the offense perform more accurately. Wilson is now confident that he can take the team to the next level and make them a contender in the AFC West.

Marvin Mims is another receiver who could take a huge leap this season. Mims is expected to play as a starter in the upcoming rotation playing wide receiver and in the return game. He has experience in returning the ball and has shown remarkable speed and agility running routes. The Broncos special team unit struggled last season and Payton is looking to Mims to be the spark plug they need to change the narrative. He has the potential to be a major contributor to the team this season and the Broncos hope his development will pay off.

Man in the Middle (Greg Dulcich)

Greg Dulcich and Russell Wilson have developed a chemistry since becoming teammates. Dulcich ability to get open in the middle of the field has the potential to be a game-changer for the Denver Broncos offense. Wilson has already noticed Dulcich potential and has been targeting him more often in training camp.

The duo have connected on several long passes this week, which is a positive sign for the Broncos. Having an effective tight end is a critical part of any successful offense. From blocking to passing Dulcich can do it all.

"Running Game"

Running back Javonte Williams is expected to play vs. the San Francisco 49ers Saturday. He has shown positive signs in practice, and the Broncos hope he will be fully ready by the start of the season. On the contrary the Broncos have signed former Saints running back Dwayne Washington.

He is an experienced veteran player who is familiar with Payton's coaching style and provides Denver with depth and leadership in the backfield.

Washington carried the ball 58 times for 283 yards in 66 games with the New Orleans Saints. Including returning 10 kickoffs for 168 yards. He will be a valuable asset for the Broncos, as he has been in the past with other teams. Being reunited with Sean Payton in Denver, Washington will look to continue his success and bring a veteran presence to the team.

"Snow Capped"

The Denver Broncos have announced they will debut their newly designed snow capped helmets against the New York Jets and New England Patriots this season. There is a rift between Broncos head coach Sean Payton and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Now it seems like a rivalry has emerged between the two teams.

Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson was recently seen in the news mocking Broncos head coach Sean Payton with his interview weardrobe selection. He told reporters Wednesday he "was advised not to speak on it."

With players getting involved, this only intensifies the so-called rivalry. Both teams will face off on September 8, 2023. The Broncos vs Jets game is obviously the most anticipated game of the pair.

The Jets are looking to build on their success from the previous season while the Broncos are looking to bounce back from a disappointing campaign. Both teams have made significant changes to their rosters and it is sure to be an exciting game.

Broncos vs 49er's

Both the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers are coming off defeats. Denver is hoping to bounce back with a win against the 49ers. San Francisco is looking for their first win of the preseason as well. This has the potential to be an exciting matchup between two teams looking to capitalize on the preseason.
