What a year for the Brooklyn Nets it has been?


From guard Kyrie Irving choosing not to get vaccinated, failing to comply with local rules in New York regarding those who work in the city. Only being allowed to play away games.


To guard James Harden forcing his way OUT after having to deal with the drama that comes with playing in the BIG city.


Now a New Brooklyn Nets team looks to make a run in the postseason. With newly acquired guard Ben Simmons patiently waiting to make his Nets debut.




Simmons is targeting a return within games 4-6 of the first round after dealing with a back injury.


Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving led the Brooklyn Nets past the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA play in tournament to get to this point. After a season of disappointments postseason, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals without Kyrie Irving. The duo now has their eyes set on rewriting their future.


Bringing an NBA Championship back to the city of Brooklyn, for the first time in franchise history.


This feat will not come easy as the Brooklyn Nets will face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs for a second year in a row. The Celtics started the season rocky but quickly found their identity to make a push for the playoffs and secure the number 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.


Earlier this season they were trade rumors of the Boston Celtics wanting to break up the duo of Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown. The duo quickly changed that conversation. Tatum is currently averaging 25.7 PPG and 8.4 RPG, while Brown is putting up averages of 26.7 PPG and 6.5 RPG.


While Nets Kevin Durant has a 7-4 record with Kyrie Irving this season. Last postseason the Nets defeated the Celtics 4-1 in the first round. Will this year be any different?
